Grant Research and Writing

Good work deserves clear funding—not confusion, jargon, or generic templates.

I help nonprofits, grassroots organizations, and independent initiatives turn solid ideas into professionally written grant proposals that meet funder requirements and are easy for reviewers to understand, evaluate, and trust.

No templates.
No filler.
Just focused, strategic writing designed to be read—and funded.

What I Do

I work directly with you to shape your project into a proposal that aligns with the funder’s priorities without distorting your mission.

Services include:

  • Funder research and alignment

  • Clear, compliant narrative writing

  • Application review and revision

  • Strengthening proposals that were previously rejected or unfinished

All work is done personally by Ken Pealock—not outsourced, not automated.

Areas of Focus

I frequently work with projects involving:

  • Community and nonprofit programs

  • Education and literacy initiatives

  • Health and wellness projects

  • Justice reform and civil liberties

  • Independent research and advocacy

If your work serves people, ideas, or public good, we’re likely a good fit.

My Approach

Grant writing doesn’t have to be mysterious. I follow a simple, effective process:

  1. Understand the project

  2. Follow the guidelines exactly

  3. Write clearly, accurately, and persuasively

Reviewers are busy. Proposals that are easy to understand are more likely to be trusted—and funded.

My Experience

I worked for 2 years with a Federal Programs Director named George Smith. He was also a talented and prolific writer. One of his books "Bayou Boy" was made into a Walt Disney movie. Together we processed hundreds of grant proposals for non-profits, businesses and individuals with positive results.

Let’s Talk

If you have a project worth funding and need a proposal that reflects its value, I’d be glad to discuss how I can help.
